API Inspection
We have developed the following integrity programs for pressure vessels, storage tanks, and piping systems used within the Petro-Chemical industry:
API 510: Boiler Maintenance Inspection, Rating, Repair, and Alteration
BI&I conducts a comprehensive evaluation to determine the allowable operating parameters and remaining service life. Our services include a complete visual and non-destructive testing examination, followed by code calculations, recommendations, and repair solutions.
API 570: Inspection, Repair, Alteration & Re-rating of In-Service Piping Systems
BI&I will conduct pipeline inspections as per API Standard 570 for the repair, alteration and re-rating of process piping systems. Our services include a complete visual inspection, and the necessary non-destructive testing required to determine the suitability of the piping system for continued service.
API 653: Tank Inspection, Repair, Alteration and Reconstruction
BI&I will conduct a comprehensive evaluation to determine the suitability of the tank for service and provide recommendations and solutions. The program includes visual inspection, tank bottom scan using the MFE 2412 floor scanner, settlement surveys, and the required conventional nondestructive testing.
